25x50mm Tile Batten Treated

This 25x50mm roofing batten is suitable for fixing sheets, slates and roof tiles and can be used as part of a timber roof structure to support metal, natural slate, fibre-cement, clay or concrete roofing tiles and/or wooden or bitumen shingles.Manufactured from timber chosen from approved sources, this batten is graded by an optical grading machine before applying a preservative treatment that is colour pigmented. The blue colour indicates that each batten has been assessed, graded and complies with the strength requirements of BS 5534: 2003 + A1: 2010.
