Parker Joinery have supplied Bereco contemporary spiral balance sliding sash windows to replace the existing fixtures in the residential properties above an imposing Georgian building in Tenterden, Kent.
The village of Tenterden is steeped in history, first rising to affluence as a centre for the wool trade in the 13th Century. It was therefore an important consideration by the freeholders that the new sash windows were in keeping with the existing building and the surrounding architecture.
But the installation was not without its challenges due to the shape of the frames and stonework.
RISING TO THE CHALLENGE
The challenge was that the windows have a curved sash within a square frame and sit behind the external stonework.
As part of the service, Bereco are able to provide job specific technical manufacturing CAD drawings like the ones produced for Tenterden which provided the perfect solution to the satisfaction of all parties.
As is ever the case, we were delighted to deliver on our promise to provide the highest quality solutions.
