Parker Building Supplies welcomes the introduction of gender pay gap reporting and presents its report for 2017.

The reporting guidelines set out what companies must report about their staff:

The mean and median difference (in percentage terms) between the pay of men and women throughout the organisation

• The mean difference in percentage terms between the pay of men and the pay of women is 4.32%

• The median difference in percentage terms between the pay of men and the pay of women is -(1.38%)

Dividing the organisation into four pay quartiles, the percentage of men and women in each quartile is as follows:

The mean and median percentage difference in bonus paid to men and women:

• The mean difference in percentage terms between bonus paid to men and bonus paid to women is 8.93%

• The median difference in percentage terms between bonus paid to men and bonus paid to women is - (6.22%)

The percentage of men and women who receive a bonus:

• The proportion of men receiving a bonus is 94.56% and the proportion of women receiving a bonus is 78.94%
